Science as a process is a way of working, a way of thinking and a way of solving a problem, which includes activities on how to collect data, connect one fact to another, interpret data and draw conclusions. The science learning process also emphasizes providing direct experience to develop competencies in order to explore and understand the natural environment scientifically. In learning at school, researchers have discovered education that does not use interesting project-based LKPD as an instrument to encourage teaching and learning activities in the classroom, but teachers only deliver more material without practicing and do not use teaching materials in the form of project-based LKPD. Based on this description, it is necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of project-based LKPD which are considered to be able to attract students. Project-based learning is one of the most effective models that engage students with their learning content (Bender 2012). Therefore, the researcher conducted a development research entitled "Development of Science Student Worksheets Based on the Project Based Learning Model for Grade V Students of SDN 19 Tarung-tarung, Pasaman Regency". This type of research is development research (R and D). According to Sugiyono (2018), R and D is a research method to produce products and test the effectiveness of certain products. Research using the 4D development model, namely, define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research was modified to 3D, namely, define, design, and develop. The LKPD that has been designed, is validated by a validator consisting of 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University. The practicality stage is carried out after the LKPD has been validated and is suitable for testing with the aim of determining the level of practicality of the LKPD that has been developed. Based on the data collection instruments used, namely the validation sheet and the practicality sheet. The results of the analysis on the validity test obtained an average value of 3.7 with a very valid category, on the practicality test by educators with a percentage of 97.2% and by students 97.2% with a very practical category. So it can be concluded that LKPD based on Project Based Learning is valid and practical.Referensi
