The Influence of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Fraction Interest Media on Students' Problem Solving Ability in Mathematics Learning for Class III SDN 22 Kuranji
Abstrak
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA BUNGA PECAHAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS III SDN 22 KURANJI Sapna Darmahayati1, Rieke Alyusfitri, 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta Email : sapnadarmahayati@gmail.com ABSTRAK This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of students in mathematics learning for grade III at SDN 22 Kuranji, Padang City. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by fractional flower media on students' problem-solving abilities in mathematics learning for grade III at SDN 22 Kuranji, Padang City. This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental research method. The population in this study was 40 people. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. The determination of the experimental class and the control class was random. After the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out, class IIIA was obtained as the experimental class with 22 students and class IIIB with 18 students as the control class. The data collection technique in this study used a learning outcome test, the test used was an essay test. The results of the study on students' mathematics learning outcomes showed that the average learning outcomes of class IIIA students as the experimental class were 89.45 and in class IIIB as the control class were 74.56. Hypothesis testing using the Independent t-test, obtained sig. 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by fractional flower media on students' problem-solving abilities in mathematics learning for class III of SDN 22 Kuranji, Padang City. Suggestions in this study for further researchers, the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model can be varied in its use in the learning process so that it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes to be better.
