TEACHING VOCABULARY BY USING SONG FOR FIRST GRADE STUDENTS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

This paper aim to discuss about teaching vocabulary by using song for first grade students of junior high school. When students feel bore in teaching english process, absolutely teacher should give an attractive and interest media to them.One of the media that can be used by the teacher in teaching learning process, especially in teaching vocabulary is english song. English song is an easy media to improve student vocabulary, especially student for first grade of junior high school. It is purpose to attract and grow student motivation in learning and mastery English. There are three activities in procedure of teaching vocabulary by using song, they are : Pre- teaching activities , whilst- teaching activity and post teaching activity.
