Abstract

Lean Six Sigma was an approach that could improve quality and reduce or reduce the wasten the production floor. This approach is used to accelerate the production process by minimizing waste on the production floor to improve the quality of the product, but it can be used in an effort to promote corporate profit. Wase is waste gained from the production floor. The objective of this research is to identify the waste found on the production floor with sir sigma’s lean, proposed improvements to minimize the waste found on the floor of production on your citation. Sponge cake and alternative attempts to minimize waste. Preliminary identification on the sponge cake CV.found three kinds of waste-motion, transportation and with the construction of the work instructional and minimizing transactions by the construction of the work insructions. With improvements made, the minimum percentage for a waste of transportation is 22,85%, to waste improvements in inspection so that a minimal percentage 51,24% whereas to minimize the waste using instructional manufacturing.
