Abstract

CV. Simas fiberglass is a type of company engaged in manufacturing in making play ground facilities such as slides, seesaw, swings and trash cans. This company produces playground facilities with good quality to be marketed from Aceh to Lampung. This company located at Jl. By Pass Km.95, Kel. Korong Gadang, Kec. Kuranji. The process of processing fiberglass raw materials into a playground consists of the process of mixing the raw materials, printing, cutting, welding, grinding, drilling and molding. The large number of product variations, different process flow patterns, the use of machines together makes scheduling job shop types more difficult than scheduling flow shop types (Ginting, 2009). This scheduling difficulty makes the company have problems in the production process, namely the accumulation of work and delays. The CV. Simas fiberglass there is no effective scheduling from the initial stage of product manufacture to the end of the product so that delays often occur in product manufacturing. This research was conducted to schedule the flow shop using the non-delay algorithm method. with the expected results, namely minimizing the average flow time (mean flow time) and this research can later reduce the delay from the manufacture of slides, trash cans A, trash can B, clothesline and signpost produced by CV. Simas Fiberglass. Non delay algorithm is a scheduling done in stages. The non-delay algorithm is a subset of inactive schedules but the optimal optimal schedule is not necessarily in the non-delay schedule (Baker, 1974)
