PERENCANAAN DAN PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PADA UMKM LAS TRALIS BERSAUDARA

Abstract

The products produced are trellises (windows, doors and fences), knobs, balconies and stair rails. The raw materials used are hollow iron, building iron, steel plate and threaded iron. The very high variety of products and increasing demand means that the availability of raw materials in the Las Tralis Bersaudara UMKM needs to be managed well, but the UMKM has not been able to fulfill all requests from customers because the availability of raw materials in the warehouse is insufficient for production. Therefore, it is necessary to have good planning and control of raw material supplies which must be carried out by MSMEs. EOQ (economic order quantity) is the simplest and easiest to understand method for controlling and planning raw material inventory. Planning and control of raw material inventory is planned for the next 1 year, July 2023 - June 2024. Also to obtain economical raw material purchase amounts, safety stock inventory, reorder points and total inventory costs. To determine the amount of raw material needed for the next year, qualitative forecasting is carried out using market research methods and the Delphi method with an expert opinion approach (interviews or questionnaires) to experts (owners, MSME workers, customers and local communities). The results of calculating the amount of raw material used in 1 year are 1,530 rods, 1,347 3⁄4 inch hollow iron rods, 137 inchi size and 46 1.5 inchi size. Safety stock for 3⁄4 inch is 22 sticks, 1 inch size is 5 sticks and 1.5 inchi size is 4 sticks. Reorder points are 50 3⁄4 inch sticks, 12 inchi sticks and 11 1.5 inchi sticks. Total inventory cost Rp. 12,094,215.89.
