ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUKSI AIR MINUM DALAM KEMASAN 220 ML DENGAN METODE FMEA DAN QFD (PT. Kayu Aro Berkah Tirta)

PT. Kayu Aro Berkah Tirta is a company operating in the industrial sector that produces bottled drinking water (AMDK). The products produced by this company are gallon AMDK and 220 ml packaging. This PT is fully aware of the demand for drinking water that is healthy, more economical and of guaranteed quality. In the production process, the product is discovered. To maintain company performance, product defects must be minimized. This research begins by identifying the type of product defect, determining the factors that cause defects and formulating priorities for repairing defective products using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods. Based on production report data and analysis of factors causing product defects during the 7 days of research, the highest RPN value was obtained for loose lid defects at 288 and the lowest for foreign objects at 8. With the results of the analysis of factors namely humans, raw materials, machines and methods . The results of the priority technical response using QFD were obtained, namely (1) the production process must be monitored carefully and strictly. (2) Production process equipment/machines must always be checked. (3) Selection of quality suppliers (4) Determination of packaging and lid thickness must be company standards (5) Implementation of SOPs to ensure water cleanliness (6) Increased efficiency and productivity. From the results obtained from this analysis, it is hoped that the company can carry out continuous improvement towards zero defects.References
