The purpose of this study is to analyze accidents and occupational health risks in the production process laboratory using the JSA (Job Safety Analysis) method. A production process laboratory is a complex working environment where various machines and equipment are used for various technical and production-related activities. The use of machines such as lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, grinding machines and welding machines poses a significant risk to the safety and health of workers. The JSA methodology is used to identify and assess potential hazards at each stage of work and determine appropriate control measures to reduce risks. The study begins by identifying the key laboratory work steps in the production process and the potential hazards associated with each machine and task. Risk assessments are then carried out using JSA to assess the likelihood and severity of each potential hazard to determine the value and level of risk. Control measures are then suggested based on the control hierarchy, from hazard removal, replacement, engineering, and management to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The study shows that some tasks, such as operating lathes and grinders, pose significant risks and require special attention in terms of safety procedures and risk management.References
