Inventory control is an important aspect that must be controlled in a business, such as in a beverage distributor business. This research was conducted at the SKD Store, because so far the store has not carried out good inventory control so that stock out and over stock conditions are still found. This research aims to group goods based on demand value criteria using the ABC Pareto Classification method, to control inventory using the POQ and EOQ methods. The data that has been collected in the study, then processed using the first method ABC Pareto Classification with the results showing that as many as 17 products are included in group A with a cumulative percentage of 78.9%, there are 10 products in group B with a cumulative percentage of 15.7% and 11 products for group C with a cumulative percentage of 5.4%. Products controlled by the POQ method are able to provide a smaller total cost compared to the EOQ method. The percentage of cost suppression for products from suppliers in Palembang City is 13% of the actual condition. While for products from suppliers in Padang City, the percentage of cost suppression is 46% of the actual condition. From the research that has been conducted, it is expected that the store can consider the research results as a reference in decision making.References
