Abstract

This plan is based on the number of buildings erected in the Village area of West Payakumbuh Nunang District to give effect to the land use change (land use), where the green land which was originally used as a water catchment area turned into a residential area. So that surface water can no longer soak into the ground, but flows on the surface as run-off. Therefore we need good drainage system so that puddles can be accommodated and fed into the nearest body of water. To plan for drainage, use of geographic data, topographic data,
rainfall data and data planning area residents. Based on the calculation of flood discharge plan of 5 years and 10 years, the planned primary and secondary drainage channels are rectangular and trapezoidal. For the primary channel which obtained high rectangular channel 0.80 m, 0.50 m and a width of the channel to the secondary channel obtained rectangular channel 0.70 m high, 0.50 m wide channel. As for the primary channel obtained trapezoidal channel 0.80 m high, 0.60 m wide channel and a secondary channel to a trapezoidal shaped channel obtained 0.70 m high, 0.50 m wide channel. To the agency and the local community are advised to make a channel based on the results of this calculation.
