Abstract

Jalan Simpang Padang-Solok emotion is the main access link between the city of Padang to
Solok. In order to improve the service road to the development of traffic especially in the fields of
economy and welfare. It required infrastructure and provide adequate transportation services traffic
optimal. Based on secondary data, the authors calculated the planning of the construction of roads
Simpang Padang-Solok emotion. The planning that was calculated in the form of a review that refers
to the geometric standard Geometric Planning Procedures Way Inter-City (TPGJAK). Planning for
review rigid pavement thickness (rigid pavement) using Portland Cement Method of Highways issued.
Geometric design that has 4 corners, bend comprises 1 Full Circle (FC) and 3 twists Spiral Spiral
Circle (SCS). At Vertical curved arch there are 21 pieces consisting of 9 curved convex and concave
curved 11. Planning obtained pavement thickness 220 mm thick concrete pavement K 350, D32 and
D12 reinforcing dowel reinforcing tie bars. Once the road is completed, is expected to expedite traffic
Padang-Solok.
