ANALYSIS OF DRAINAGE DISTRICTS BELANTI LOLONG WILDERNESS AREA NORTH OF THE TOWN PADANG

Abstract

Drainage system has become one of the most important urban infrastructure. Settlement must have a drainage channel that is able to address the problemof flooding and standing water so it does not interfere with the day to day activities. With fairly high rainfall it is seen that during the settlement often occurs in a puddle of water and is caused by the dimensions of the existing drainage system is not sufficient anymore in terms of containing the flow of water and have reduced infiltration into residential areas. Used rainfalldata for the region is taken from Gunung
Sarik, Gunung Nago dan Batu Busuk. The third station of rainfall calculation results obtained by using the method of distribution plans Log Person III with a 5 year period is equal to 249.3446 mm. The rate of annual population growth for the period of 5 sub region howled belanti is 1.28% year. From the calculation drainage area of the belanti howled rectangular channel with dimensions of 1.46 meters while the width of the channel height 1.03 meters.
