PERANCANGAN BUNG HATTA STUDENT CENTER

Abstract

Student Center is the center of student activities to conduct activities in the field of student organizations, activities of interest in talent and reasoning. Among the students of the Student Center not only serves as a place of learning and gathering. Students can also undertake a range of activities, such as scientific discussion, sports, arts and culture, or preaching. In addition, they can also be developing an interest and talent in a number of student centered activities unit in this building. Student center is also considered as a function of supporting campus connecting existing activities, the activities are either formal or informal between students, faculty, and staff. The technique of collecting data on the process of design refers to the data of Rencana Induk Pembangunan Universitas Bung Hatta 2018-2045 as well as data from a comparative study against a similar object with the same functionality through journals and precedents as well as do direct observation of spaciousness. The research of the design is in the form of the main facilities building 3 floors with an overall floor area of 2794 m2, UKM building with 2 floors area of 823 m2, as supporting facilities Campus Clinics with 2 floors area of 1073 m2, overall Bank Branch Campus 259 m2 and minimarket 314 m2, approach to the concept of Sustainable development, one of which is applied on a double façade with vertical shiding garden as well as the rain water recycling.
