PLANNING GEOMETRIC AND FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT ROAD AMPANG KURANJI LUBUK AGAM REGENCY DHARMASRAYA

Abstract

The highway is infrastructure land transports have to influence to connection sector of

commodity and services distribution. The economic growth at Ampang Kuranji – Lubuk Agam, Koto Baru sub-district, Dharmasraya – West Sumatera Province area and this place be known with agriculture community. So that, this highway used to transport agriculture production, sometime any vehicle agriculture in this area falls down regulation of standard of vehicle highway and that condition can
make broken in this road. Based on trace highway, CBR and LHR value, and writer can do geometric calculation highway refer to standard of “Tata Cara Perencanaan Geometrik Jalan Antar Kota (TPGJAK)” and thick of flexible pavement using standard of “Metoda Analisa Komponen (MAK). Result of that calculation horizontal alignment has 8 full circle, 1 kind of spiral circle spiral and 1 kind of spiral spiral. Widening of circle road minimal 0.694 m and maximal 0.872 m. Vertical alignment obtained 5 kind of convex and 3 kind of concave and thick flexible pavements consist of 5 cm for surface layer, 15 cm for overlay and 17 cm for undercoat (base). This calculation recommended for to execution planning to built highway at Ampang Kuranji – Lubuk Agam.
