PERENCANAAN TERMINAL BUS TIPE A KOTA PADANG

Abstract

Designing of A type Padang City Bus station is an appreciation due to the lack of a place which provides the system of transportation activities  and  each mode of transportation system  in Padang City. By having many movement activities to and from Padang City then the existence of A Type Bus station is needed to accommodate it.  The presence of Bus station helps to solve problem about unofficial bus station (Public Street is used as Bus station) existency. Linear circulation pattern is applied and expected to answer cross circulation problem from every vehicle inside bus station area, while the building adopts an airport concept to wit by separating between arrival and departure circulation. High-Tech application theme at the building aim to perform more modern building than before by using escalators, glasses and Stucture projection which gives different impression, providing facilities such as comfortable waiting room, foodcourt, souvenir centre, bookshops, coffee shop and other fast food restaurant that gives pleasure to the guests.
