Abstract

This thesis is about planning Mother and Child Hospital (MCH) Padang. This analyzes purposed to plan Mother and Child Hospital (MCH) Padang that comfortable and can give maximum service to every medical patient. The hospital is a building that gives service to take care the health. Besides hospital is a facility that emphasize sterilization and efficiency space in support service activity in the building. In a planning of a hospital building, the problem of circulations in the building is important. In the hospital there are many agents, like patient, patient attendant, patient visitor, medical staff, staff, non-medical staff, so it is necessary to division the circulation in the hospital building. The form of circulation in the hospital is internal circulation and external circulation. In the internal circulation emphasize is medical circulation, service, and general. Besides, emphasize connected circulation among the floor to other floor. For the external circulation divided into three circulations those are intensive care unit, general circulation, and service circulation for staff that support the activity Mother and Child Hospital (MCH). Writer conclude Planning Mother and Child Hospital.
