PERANCANGAN BALAI RISET DAN PELATIHAN BUDIDAYA IKAN HIAS DI SARASAH DENGAN PENDEKATAN BIOMORPHIC ARSITEKTUR KOTA PADANG

Abstract

This study aims to design a Research and Training Center for Ornamental Fish Farming in Sarasah with a biomorphic architectural approach in Padang City. This approach aims to integrate the principles of nature and sustainability in building design, in line with the need for a friendly and sustainable environment. Research methods used include literature studies on architectural biomorphics, site analysis, identification of user needs, as well as technical analysis and sustainability. The results showed that the biomorphic approach can be ef ectively applied in the design of the Ornamental Fish Farming Research and Training Center in Sarasah, creating buildings that are harmoniously connected to the surrounding environment. In addition, the study also highlights the importance of sustainability in design, with the application of green technologies and environmentally friendly practices to ensure ef icient and sustainable building operations. It is hoped that the design resulting from this research can be a guide for the development of sustainable ornamental fish farming infrastructure in Padang City and other regions.
