PERANCANGAN PUSAT PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM ( MADRASAH ALIYAH ) DAN WISATA RELIGI DI KAWASAN PELESTARIAN SURAU TUO TARAM DI NAGARI TARAM

Abstract

This project focuses on the design of an Islamic Education Center (Madrasah Aliyah) and a religious tourism site within the Surau Tuo Taram preservation area in Nagari Taram. The aim is to create a harmonious space that integrates education, cultural heritage, and tourism while promoting Islamic values and community engagement. The design process involved comprehensive site analysis, community consultations, and the incorporation of local architectural styles to ensure cultural relevance. Key features of the center include classrooms, prayer halls, and facilities for religious activities, alongside visitor amenities that enhance the religious tourism experience. By fostering an environment for learning and spiritual growth, this initiative aims to strengthen the community's religious identity and promote the preservation of local heritage.
