Abstract

As the center of government agencies, it is necessary to have an office that has complete and comfortable services. to meet these service standards, a government office must have adequate main and supporting space facilities. Not only that, this research also aims to provide public facilities that can support community activities and guests visiting the Education and Culture Office. Using a collaborative landscape office approach throughout all stages of the study design process, the research method was qualitative. The lack of a permanent building for the Padang City Education and Culture Department as a community service center and inadequate office space due to renting out buildings with different uses, so that the office cannot carry out the required functions, became the impetus for designing this office. The planning of the Padang City Education and Culture Office does not only function as an office, but also functions as a public area by presenting library functions, exhibition areas, food courts, and employee rest areas with various games or games. With the existence of public office support, it can liven up the usually formal office atmosphere. Keywords : Office, Collaborative, Landscape Office
