PERANCANGAN MUSEUM BUDAYA SEMEN DAN REKREASI EDUKATIF YANG TERINTEGRASI TEKNOLOGI DI PABRIK INDARUNG I DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR KONTEMPORER DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

The Indarung I Semen Padang Cultural Heritage Area has been designated as a National Ranking Cultural Heritage by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. However, the condition of the area is quite concerning, many structures, buildings and collections in the factory area have been damaged. Therefore, there needs to be sustainability at the Indarung I factory. The research method used is a qualitative method, namely by collecting primary data through observation and secondary data from related theories and documents. This study aims to plan a Cement Culture Museum and Educational Recreation at the Indarung I Factory in Padang City. This research is expected to function as a means of education about the history of the cement industry as well as a place of recreation for the community and visitors. This design will provide solutions for the preservation and utilization of cultural heritage areas with the integration of modern technology.
