Abstract

This study aims to tackle the following problems that occur in the aur kuning market which draws inspiration from the issues that arise in order to improve good circulation for humans and vehicles by adding facilities needed by terminals and markets with mixed-use architectural solutions. Through a strategy that combines a descriptive and qualitative methodology, which emphasises observation research in the field and the data obtained is analysed non-statistically. This qualitative method can transcribe or write down detailed information on the individuals you saw and their behaviors, so in order to fully understand the occurrence. This study aims to improve functionality in order to boost the effectiveness and functionality among the market, both traders and buyers. The study's findings include that planning that of wholesale markets additionally terminals that have problem factors in the existing area. The mix use approach to Terminal B and Wholesale Market in Aur Kuning Market, Bukittinggi can be an innovative solution to improve local economic sustainability. By integrating the wholesale market function with various elements in Terminal B, such as recreational areas, parking lots, and culinary centres, it can create a more dynamic and attractive commercial centre.
