Abstract

This research analyzes the queuing system at the Gunung Pangilun gas station, focusing on determining performance parameters and system analysis. Using a single phase multichannel queuing model, the distribution on motorbikes is exponential and cars have a Poisson distribution. this study measures the average number of customers in the system, average waiting time, number of people in queue, and time waiting in queue. Results show significant differences between motorbike and car services. The arrival rate for motorbikes is much higher, especially in the morning, resulting in longer waiting times compared to cars. The average service time for cars is longer, but with shorter queues. Motorbike officers have no idle time, indicating potential work overload. In contrast, car attendants had an average idle time of 1.07 minutes in the morning and 1.11 minutes in the afternoon. The system experiences increased pressure in the afternoon, especially for motorbikes. This research concludes that there is a need to improve the queuing system, including adding fuel filling facilities or switching to a car charging server to reduce waiting times and increase service efficiency.
