ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is efforted to explain the effect of delegation of authorityand clarity
of role of Officials Testers and Signing Warrant to Pay, and the effect of work satisfaction as
intervening variable among delegation of authority and clarity of role to job performance of
Officials Testers and Signing Warrant to Pay of the Padang Office of Service Treasure.
Population in this study amount 289 unit that deal with Padang Office of Service
Treasure.Technique of sampling is census method. Questionnaire that can be processed
amount 196. Furthermore data processing with validity test and reliability test, for hypothesis
test using multiple regression, simple regression and compound regression. The result of
study concludes that delegation of authority significant influence and positive to job
performance, clarity of role significant influence and positive to job performance, delegation
of authority significant influence and positive to job satisfaction, clarity of role significant
influence and positive to job satisfaction, job satisfaction significant influence and positive to
job performance. Jobsatisfactionable to mediate relationship among delegation of authority
and clarity of roleto job performance of Officials Testers and Signing Warrant to Pay of the
Padang Office of Service Treasure. The result also proved that have a contribution of
delegation of authority and clarity of roletojob performance 37,4%, remaining 62,6% a given
and explained by another variabels excluded in this model. Jobsatisfaction as intervening
variable is able to increase the contribution of work stress and work discipline3,7%.
