Abstract
This study aims to describe several things, namely, (a) forms of lexical interference, (b) types of interference and (c) factors causing regional language interference in writing of class VIII.A student travel reports at Junior high School 43 Mukomuko. The theories described in this study are about (a) Sociolinguistics proposed by Chaer (2004), (b) bilingulism by Chaer (2004) and Kridalaksana (2005), (c) the language interference proposed by Chaer (2004) ) and Nursaid (2002), and (d) lexical by Chaer (2004). This type of research is a qualitative research using descriptive method described by Sugiyono and Dantes. To analyze the data used the theories put forward by Mahsun. This research was conducted at Junior High School 43 Mukomuko. The data of this research are words that contain lexical interference of local languages in the form of Malay dialect of Pondok Kopi and Javanese language in the writings of students of class VIII.A in junior high School 43 Mukomuko which amounts to 20 students and the source of this research data is written student travel report of 20 writing as a task in learning writing. The instrument of this research is the writer himself by using the tool in the form of sheet about the task of writing and the technique of this research is a technique in the form of techniques tapping techniques with advanced techniques of recording based on the theory put forward by Mahsun. The results showed three things as follows. First, the lexical interference of regional languages is based on the Indonesian word class of 12 word classes, (1) word class verbs, (2) noun word class, (3) adjective word class, (4) pronouns word class, (5) numeralia Adverb, (7) interogativa, (8) demonstrativa, (9) prepositions, (10) conjunctions, (11) categories of fatis, and 12) interjection. Second, the types of interference that is, (1) affixation, and (2) reduplication. Third, the factors causing interference, namely, (1) over-equation, (2) transfer structure, (3) first language difference and second language and (4) lack of understanding of the language used. The dominant factor becomes the cause of regional language interference in the text of the class VIII.A student travel report on Indonesian language and literature learning at Junior High School 43 Mukomuko is the difference between the first language and the second language.
