TINDAK TUTUR DAN DEIKSIS PADA TUTURAN TOKOH FILM TANAH SURGA KATANYA SUTRADARA HERWIN NOVIANTO

Abstract: This study is aimed to describe the description of illocution of speech acts, and the deixis
picture contained in the type of speech acts of illocution in the speech of the movie character "Tanah Surga
Katanya" director Novianto. Theories used are: the theory of speech acts Searle (2005), and Jumanto (2017)).
Deiksis theory by Purwo (1984) and Yule (2006). This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive
method, while the object of this research is all speech figures. The focus on this research is the whole speech of
the character that contains the act of speech illocution and deixis. The results of this study show that act of
speech illocution found is acupuncture speech act stated, propose, complain, express opinion. Assertive states
are the most dominant speech. Assertive asserts of type states often appear to provide information, character
values, messages, historical knowledge, as well as criticism to the government. Deiksis is found to be the deixis
persona, with the details of the first persona (aku, daku, saya, ku- dan -ku), the second persona (engkau, kau,
dikau, kamu, anda, kau-, -mu), the third persona (ia, dia, beliau), the first person with the second person (kami),
the first person without the second person (kita), the second persona more than one (kamu sekalian, kalian), and
the third persona more than one (mereka). The film “Tanah Surga Katanya” is a film that is rich in character
values, the value is derived from the first person's deixis widely used by the main character, so the first person's
deixis is the most dominant use. Based on the result of the research, the conclusion of the research is as follows:
The dominant type of acute assertiveness illustration used has the function to provide information, messages,
historical knowledge and insight to the audience, be it society or government about the inequality experienced
by the people who live on the border of Indonesian with Malaysian. The movie “Tanah Surga Katanya” is a film
full of character values, the value is sourced from the persona character played by the character, so deixis
persona becomes the most dominant used and used by the director and the player.
