IDENTIFIKASI FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KUALITAS PEKERJAAN KONTRAKTOR TERHADAP MUTU PEKERJAAN KONSTRUKSI DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstract

Quality is one of the goals and at the same time an indicator of the success
of a construction project, especially by the project owner for the construction
service contractor. In this context, quality is considered as one of the key elements
of construction management methods and techniques. As a consequence, the
quality management system must be applied both at the corporate level and at the
project (Pamulu, 2005)..
Many factors influence the achievement of construction quality related to
the quality of the contractor itself. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct a
study related to the factors that influence the quality of contractor work that
determines the achievement of the quality of construction work and in this study is
devoted to construction in West Pasaman District.
Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to know exactly the
factors that influence the quality of contractor work that determine the
achievement of the quality of construction work and in this study specifically for
construction in West Pasaman District and find out the dominant factors that most
influence the quality of contracting work determining the achievement of the
quality of construction work and in this study specifically for construction in West
Pasaman District.
The results of the study concluded that there are 5 (five) factors that
influence the quality of contractor's work on the quality of construction work in
West Pasaman District, namely human resource factors, capital / financial
resource factors, equipment resource factors, technological resource factors and
organizational factors. The dominant and significant factors that influence the
quality of contractor's work on the quality of construction work in West Pasaman
Regency are human factors and equipment, and capital / financial factors. Human
and equipment factors are able to explain 49.66% variation, and capital /
financial factors can explain 20.029% of variation. Overall, the two factors
explained 69.68% of the variation.
To improve the quality of work in the use of resources in the project needs
to be done including work study, method study, work measurement, limited
resource scheduling, and leveling of resources.
