Abstract

ABSTRACT
This study aims on Economic and Social Domain Analysis of Coastal Fishermen Women in Pasie
Nan Tigo, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The research about the Economic and Social
Domain Analysis of the Fishermen Women's Coastal Area of Padang City was conducted in Pasie
Nan Tigo, Koto Tangah District. That was carried out in March to April 2019. The contribution of
women fishermen about increasing family income was 46.61%. The average family income of
women fishermen is Rp 3,132,235 while the UMR of Padang city on 2019 is Rp 2,280,000. The
average saving ratio of fishermen women's families is positive 26.65%. Assets owned by
respondents in the form of current assets, fixed assets and intangible assets. Fishermen's wife in the
Village of Pasie Nan Tigo also take time to be active in social community activities. The location of
the study was said to be peaceful and they incorporate modern traditions in their personal lives so
that it influences local wisdom
