Abstrak
Elementary school children are passive consumers, meaning children receive food from what
their mother provides. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the
level of fish consumption in elementary school children in Pasia Nan Tigo Village, Padang City.
This research was conducted on elementary school children (SD) registered in Pasia Nan Tigo Village,
Padang City. Data analysis using multiple linear regression models of variables used are the age of the
child, children's tastes / attitudes, parents' income, number of family members, parents' knowledge of
nutrition, parents' level of education on the level of fish consumption. From the results of the study note
that as much as 68.8% of the level of consumption of fish in elementary school children in the village of
Pasia nan Tigo Padang City, influenced by child's appetite or attitude, parental income, parental
knowledge of nutrition, and parental education. The factor that most influences the level of fish
consumption in children is the taste factor with the result of the t value of 3.573> 1.65909.
