Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of psychological capital on career commitment, and the
role of subjective well-being as a mediator of psychological capital and career commitment
and job satisfaction as a mediator for subjective well-being and career commitment. This
research was conducted at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province with 114
respondents. Inferential statistical data analysis is measured by using SmartPLS (Partial
Least Square) 3.2.8 namely Measurement Model Assessment for instrument testing and
Structural Model Assessment for hypothesis testing. The results of this study found no
influence of psychological capital on career commitment. Whereas subjective well-being and
job satisfaction as an independent or as a mediator have a positive effect on career
commitment.
