Abstract

ABSTRACT
In the construction service industry the factors that support the quality of a
job are the qualifications of contractors who have capital, human resources,
equipment resources, as well as work experience, etc. If the ability of the
contractor is limited then the likely results to be achieved are not optimal or
below standard, even though it has been equipped with technical specifications
and complete standards that explain the procedure for work to achieve quality
standards
Many factors influence the achievement of construction quality itself. For
this reason, it is necessary to conduct studies related to the factors that affect the
quality of construction project work. In this study, it was specifically focused on
the case of road projects in Sungai Penuh city within five years (2011-2015)
Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the
factors that influence the quality of construction project work in Sungai Penuh
City and find out which dominant factors influence the quality of construction
project work in Sungai Penuh City.
The results of the study concluded that there are 3 (three) factors that
influence the quality of road construction project work in Sungai Penuh City,
namely human resource factors, time factors and quality control factors. The
dominant and significant factors that influence the quality of road construction
project work in Sungai Penuh are the most significant important factors, the first
factor is human factors and time, the second factor is the quality control factor.
The human factor and time are able to explain 62.005%% variation, and the
quality control factor can explain 24.95% variation. Overall, these two factors
explain 86.964%
