ANALISIS PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PENYEDIAAN AIR MINUM DAN SANITASI BERBASIS MASYARAKAT (PAMSIMAS) DI KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstract

Abstract: The Pamsimas program is implemented through a community-based approach through
community engagement and a responsive approach to community needs. In this program, the role
of program implementers (government officials and consultants) is very important as one of the
keys to the success of the program. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that
influence community participation in the Pamsimas program in Agam District, To determine the
dominant factors that influence community participation in the Pamsimas program in Agam
District, and look for efforts so that the community can participate. The research method used is a
quantitative research method that is by distributing questionnaires to respondents relating to
research. The results of this study are that there are 5 factors that influence community
participation in the Pamsimas program in Agam Regency, namely Community Involvement,
Environment, Social Capital, Economy, Community Interest in the Program. The dominant factor
influencing community participation in the Pamsimas program in Agam District is Community
Involvement. One of the efforts made to increase community participation is to increase social
interaction between communities.
