PERUBAHAN POLA PERMUKIMAN DESA KOTO KOMBU KECAMATAN HULU KUANTAN KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI RIAU

Abstract

Koto Kombu village is located Province on the edge of the village of Batang Kuantan River,
connects between the West Sumatra and Riau province. Rural Settlement Koto Kombu is formed by
river transport, the Perantau open forest into a new settlement with clustered settlement patterns.
The writer interest to research more about Koto Kombu Rural Settlement patterns and determine
the factors that led to the settlement pattern. The research method used was a qualitative research
method by conducting field observation, interviews, mapping and analyzing research data that has
been after analyzing data and finding research. After the conclusion of the analysis is the
importance of the results of the study are as follows: Kombu Koto Village is a residential area
located in the district Koto Hulu Kuantan. The pattern of activity in the rural settlement Kombu
Koto looks at the use of shared facilities between residents with each other like, Topian Mandi,
hall, custom house, and mosques, puskesdes, schools, and Tomb. Judging from the pattern of
settlement Kombu Koto village originally had clustered settlement pattern, with the passage of
time and changes in the public mindset to reach subsistence pattern of settlements turned into a
diffuse settlement patterns along the existing road in the village of Koto Kombu.
