Abstract

Equipment is one aspect that causes a decrease in labor productivity which in turn led to delays in project implementation. The purpose of this study is: 1). Know the conditions definitely UPTD equipment owned by the District Public Works Office Equipment. Solok and definitely plan to know Roads infrastructure development in 2011-2015 Solok d, 2). Identify the type and amount of equipment needed for the development of road infrastructure in accordance RPJMD Solok Year 2011-2015. This study used qualitative methods to study engineering documentation and literature. The study site is UPTD Equipment Solok Public Works department. Results of this study explain that: 1). UPTD Heavy Equipment owned 80% when this condition was slightly damaged and the life of the equipment is old or already beyond its economic life, 2). District 120 KM of road construction and rehabilitation / maintenance of District 1000 KM road, farm road 25 KM, 34 KM road production, and the production of 143.1 KM, 3). Heavy equipment needed for the development of road infrastructure in accordance RPJMD Solok Year 2011-2015 is 1 unit Bulldozers, Excavators 1 unit, 1 unit Dum truck, 1 Vibroler unit, 1 unit of Motor grader type D and 2 units of water tankers.
