Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Etos Kerja Terhadap Kinerja dengan Locus of Control Sebagai Variabel Intervening pada Pegawai RSUD Pariaman
Abstract
One of the most extensively research concepts in the field of human resources development is job performance. there are many researches done by using the job performance. However, little has been focused on the nurse performance. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the role of locus of control as mediating the relationhsip between leadership style, work’s ethic and job performance among nurses at the local government hospital in Pariaman, West Sumatra. This study use 136 nurses as respodents and by using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), we find that there is a positive relationship between leadership style and work ethic with the locus of control and job performance. In addition, locus of control also has a positive significant effect on the job performance. However, there is no role of locus of control that mediated the relationship between learship style and work ethic on job performance.
