STUDI KINERJA PERUSAHAAN JASA KONSULTANSI KONSTRUKSI DI KOTA PEKANBARU DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS GAP

Abstract

Competition on contruction market in Indonesia is quite high. For that reason, it is important to know the need of consultant services, so that consultant company can give maximum services and fulfill customer needs. The research objective was to analyzed level application of consultant service variables and determined characteristic of consultant service using gap analysis. Research conducted on consultant at Pekanbaru city. Method analysis that used in this research was gap analysis with questionnaire as research instrument. Result of gap analysis on planning consultant shows that from 16 variables, there were 9 variables with quite high gap on level of application. In term of controlling consultant, from 10 variables, there were 5 variables with quite high gap on level of application. Based on gap analysis result, the final result pointed out that there were 5 characteristic need of consultant both of planning and controlling, they were availability on performance measurement system, training and education, have skill certification, availability of standard operation procedures, and training and education on managerial.
