TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA OLEH GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI KELAS (STUDI KASUS DI SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG)
Abstract
The background of this research is the teacher always use directive speech act
does’nt match the contact so that not give an convertable so the student in the
learning process. The research doing to explain the directive speech acts used in
the Indonesian language teachers in SMAN 1 Padang relating to the form of a
directive speech act, the type of directive speech acts, and strategies used in the
directive speech act. The research uses the theory of Searle (1979) about directive
speech act theory and politeness Brown and Levinson (1987) on the concept of
face. This type of this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data of
the research is a speech teacher taken through recording. The data were analyzed
with the Miles and Huberman models with data reduction, data presentation, and
conclusion. Data directive speech acts were identified and classified based on the
form of directive speech acts are used, the type, and strategies narrate. Based on
the research findings, it was concluded form of directive speech act mode using
declarative, interrogative, and imperative. Type of speech act requested, asking,
commanding, forbidding, approve, and advising. The strategy used the strategy
speech frankly without further ado (BTTB), speechk with politeness strategies
positive (BDBKP), speech with a strategy of negative politeness (BDBKN), and
vague strategy (BS).
