EKSPLORASI KAMPUNG KOTA di PUSAT KOTA PADANG (Studi Kasus Kampung Jawa Dalam)

Abstract

Kampung Kota exploration is the exploration of the field with the aim of gaining more knowledge about the circumstances of the housing that has a high population density, lack of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the transformation of spatial patterns resulting from economic growth in a city. The reason the researchers chose a case study in the city of Kampung Jawa Dalam In the city of Padang, because the region is increasingly dense residential areas with commercial activities and services. The purpose of this study is to explain problematic hometown now and explore factors hometown formation. The research is a qualitative methodology inductive, where the use of this method starts from collecting units in the field of information, formulate units such information to determine the theme, and to develop /create an overview of the research that formed the concept. The findings of the field is the subdivision of the building, the loss of communal space, a single building into a row, surviving residential, residential mix, the loss of the building demarcation line, as well as environmental degradation.
