TINDAKAN KEKERASAN PADA BOARDING SCHOOL SYSTEM (Studi Kasus Pada Sekolah Usaha Perikanan Menengah (SUPM) Negeri Pariaman)
Abstract
Based on the rule that a person's right to follow the educational activities atboarding school system must be protected according to the Law No. 23 of 2002 on
the protection of children. Law No. 14 of 2005on Teachers and Lecturers and
Government Regulation No. 29 of 1990 on Secondary Education, activities
education conducted in the State SUPM Pariaman is the boarding school system,
should pay attention to children's rights as citizens. The problems discussed in the
background of this research are: 1. What are the efforts made by SUPM Pariaman
in protecting students from violence? 2. What are the constraints faced by
SUPMPariaman in protecting students from violence. This study uses descriptive
analytical research with socio legal approach. Data used include primary data and
secondary data. Data were collected through interviews, observation and
document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively from the results of the study
concluded that: 1). The school has tried to preventive and repressive measures that
violence does not occur either done by teachers and students. 2). The school faced
obstacles in anticipation that violence does not occur, because of the lack of
supervisory personnel and the lack of a budget to complete the infrastructure, and
the lack of participation of 3 (three) in support of educational activities in SUPM
Pariaman.
