ANALISIS PENYEBAB KETERLAMBATAN PENYELESAIAN PROYEK KONSTRUKSI JALAN NASIONAL DI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstract

Any delay in the completion of the project will have a negative impact on the implementation
of ongoing projects and also to the organizers of the parties directly involved in the
implementation. Based on data released by the national Road Implementation Unit II Region
Prov. West Sumatra PPK-15, that in the 2012 budget year contract package that has been done
there is a time difference of the completion of the contracted completion time of actual
implementation. This study tried to look at the factors of delay in the Pesisir Selatan District
that are historical, geographical, environmental and construction type different from other
regions. The purpose of this research is to knowing the factors that cause delays in the
completion of construction projects and determine the factors that most significantly affect the
delay in the completion of construction projects. The research data was obtained from
respondents through questionnaires and interviews were analyzed with SPSS, so we get the
results that are 5 factors that cause delays in the project are: Management Resources,
Inspection Systems, Control and Evaluation of Work and Organizational Systems,
Coordination and Communication; Aspects beyond the ability of owners and contractors;
Aspects of unpreparedness owner; Factors Planning and inspection systems, control and
evaluation of the work; Planning aspect.
