PENGARUH ETOS KERJA, MOTIVASI DAN SIKAP INOVATIF TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS PETERNAK PEMBIBITAN SAPI POTONG DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the work ethic, motivation and innovativeattitude towards productivity farmers breeding beef cattle. This study was performed on
24 groups of cattle farmers get help from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of
Indonesia from 2010 to 2013, which are in Sub Kinali, Luhak Nan Duo and Pasaman
West Pasaman. Sampling was conducted from October to November 2015. The sample
used in this study were 220 respondents beef cattle breeding farms that are members of
farmer groups. The sampling method is by convenience sampling with a questionnaire
tools. The variable that is measured in this study is the work ethic, motivation and
innovative attitude as independent variables and the productivity of farmers as the
dependent variable. To calculate the effect of the work ethic, motivation and innovative
attitude towards the productivity of farmers used SPSS.16 Software.The results showed
that the work ethic positive and significant effect on the productivity of farmers by
regression coefficient (r=0.284) and a significant value of 0.009 (<0.05). Motivation
and significant positive effect on the productivity of farmers by regression coefficient
(r=0.227) and a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). Innovative attitude positive and
significant effect on the productivity of farmers by regression coefficient (r=0.668) and
a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R ²) in this study
was 0.408, this figure explains that the size of the contribution the influence of all
independent variables;work ethic, motivation and innovative attitude towards the
productivity of farmers breeding beef cattle is at 40.8%.
