FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KUALITAS PEKERJAAN KONSTRUKSI PADA KONTRAKTOR KECIL DAN MENENGAH (Studi Kasus Pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Sungai Penuh)

Abstract

Construction industry has an important role in the economy of the country, an
increasing number of companies apparently not followed by an increase in the
qualifications and performance. It can be seen from the quality of work, timeliness
of completion of the implementation, resource utilization efficiency of personnel,
capital, technology in the organization of construction services in the River City
sold out yet as expected. Moving on from this phenomenon, this research is
directed to address two main objectives, namely to identify what factors need to
be considered for achieving the quality of work produced by contractors and small
and medium seek to know the order of the contribution of these factors to the
achievement of the quality of work produced by small and medium contractors as
a basis for decision making future improvements to come. To get accurate
research results, this study involved 70 respondents composed of 39 people
representing small contractors and 31 people representing secondary contractor.
The final results obtained from the statistical analysis is that there are three main
factors that determine the quality of the work of the small contractor that is a
factor of time management skills and human resources, occupational health and
safety factors and factors of financial management capabilities, equipment and
quality of work. As for the secondary contractor, job quality is highly dependent
on the two most significant factors, namely the factor of human and financial
resources and factors of quality assurance work.
