KONFLIK DAN NILAI-NILAI PADA NOVEL SANDIWARA LANGIT KARYA ABU UMAR BASYIER SERTA IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA DI KELAS X SMA MUHAMMADIYAH KOTA SOLOK

Abstract

One of the works on literature is novel. Novel is a fiction work which is constructed by
various elements. The elements are intentionally made as if they are real having events; they
reflect those that are really happened. This research was aimed to get the understanding on
the conflicts (mis harmony on the actors’ relationship) and values (religious of relationship to
God, honesty, and high-self confidence) of novel “Sandiwara Langit“, and its implication to
Indonesian and Literary Instruction. Data of the research was literary text containing conflicts
(internal and external of both physic and social) and values (religious, honest, and high-self
confident) in the speech and expression of novel of “Sandiwara Langit“ of the tenth
publication in 2011. The design of the research was analytical descriptive (Semi, 1990). The
theoretical framework of the research included concepts by Nurgiyantoro (1995), Atmazaki
(2005), and Tarigan (2011). Conflicts and values in “Sandiwara Langit“ were reflected in the
speech and expression addressed by Rizqaan, Halimah, Ustadz, and Asyraf. Based on the
result of data analysis, there were 21 conflicts of both internail and external as well as 52
values found in “Sandiwara Langit“.
