PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PERMULAAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA MENGGUNAKAN METODE BERVARIASI PADA SISWA KELAS I SDN 12 BETUMONGA
Abstract
The problem faced by the first graders of 12 Betumonga Elementary School (SDN 12 Betumonga),Mentawai Archipelago residenciy is the low level of preliminary writing in learning Indonesia
Language. The reason is because teachers do not use various methods in teaching, so that the students
are not motivated to write. To solve the problem, the teachers / researchers conduct a study on class
action to improve teachers’ performance and the students’ learning process to upgrade the study
result grade on preliminary writing. The researchers conducted the study in two cyles using Hopkins
Model (Sanjaya, 2013:53), the first cycle was conducted in three meetings on November 2,5, and 9,
2015 respectively; the second cycle was conducted in two meetings on Desember 7 and 10, 2015
respectively. According to Hopkins, class action study is conducted spirally starting from detecting
the problem, planning and conducting observation and reflection, replanning; executing the action and
so on. Class action study conducted by the researchers use various methods, namely : talk, questionanswer
and exercise. On the first meeting, the researchers used 2 methods like talk and question –
answer, so that the student’ grade points on cycle I are 68,80,68, 72, 72, 72, 76, 68, 52, 56, 56, 68, 64,
56, 64, with the total of 992 and the mean of 66.13; grade point 80 is
