PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PRODUK DENGAN QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT (QFD) DI INDUSTRI SEPATU DI KOTA PADANG
Abstract
Kepuasan pelanggan terhadap produk yang berkualitas merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang menentukan keberhasilan perusahaan dalam kemenangan persaingan. Penelitian pendahuluan memperlihatkan adanya keluhan terhadap produk sepatu seperti standar kaki dan variasi sepatu yang sedikit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi keinginan dan kebutuhan pelanggan terhadap produk sepatu serta untuk menentukan spesifikasi produk dan proses yang sesuai dengan keinginan pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Quality Function Deployment (QFD) dengan model Empat-Fase. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pada tahap I didapatkan technical response yaitu teknik pengerjaan yang profesional, jenis bahan/kulit, serta variasi model dan warna. Tahap II yaitu desain pola sesuai model dan mempunyai nilai artistik, gunting pola rapi yang sesuai dengan ukuran, serta bahan ada yang tebal dan tipis. Tahap III yaitu seni desain untuk sepatu, ukuran pola/gambar, dan ketepatan pengeleman. Tahap IV yaitu cara mendesain pola, teknik memadukan model, serta kerapian dan kebersihan sepatu.

ABSTRACT
Customer satisfaction to quality products is one of the important factors that determine a company's success in winning the competition. Preliminary research shows complaints against standard products such as foot and less shoe variation. The purpose of this study was to identified customer needs and to determined the specifications of the product and processes in accordance with the wishes of the customer. The method used in the study is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) with four-phase models. The results showed that in the first phase of the technical response obtained professional workmanship techniques, types of materials / leather, as well as variations of models and colors. Phase II is the design patterns according to the model and have artistic value, scissors neat pattern that matches the size, and there is a thick material and thin. Phase III is the art of shoe design, size patterns / images, and precision gluing. Stage IV is the way to design patterns, techniques combine models, as well as the neatness and cleanliness of the shoe.
