Abstract

The decision-making process sometimes requires evaluating the consequences resulting from implementing different policy scenarios. Hence, it is necessary to apply a simulation. Today, research related to transportation simulation is less popular. Meanwhile, several transportation simulation studies do not explain in detail how the model is built into the software used. Therefore, this study explains how to use the Arena software for transportation problems using the Transporter. The designed model is a transportation system that uses a transporter which is useful for transporting goods from location 1 to location 2, then the transporter returns to location 1. From the results obtained, the model created has passed the verification process properly and can be used for the next simulation process
