PERANCANGAN SISTEM OTOMASI PENCACAHAN JUMLAH PRODUKSI DI PT. COCA COLA BOTTLING INDONESIA-CENTRAL SUMATERA

Abstract

Kebutuhan data jumlah produksi merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat penting bagi manajemen perusahaan. Terutama bagi manajemen pemasaran, data jumlah produksi yang akurat sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui kemampuan perusahaan dalam melayani permintaan pasar. Pada PT. Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia-Central Sumatera ini proses perhitungan jumlah produksi masih menggunakan cara manual, mengingat sistem produksi pada PT. Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia-Central Sumatera bersifat kontiniu process dan keterbatasan manusia dalam melakukan pekerjaannya, memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan dalam perhitungan dan pencatatan jumlah produksi. Untuk mengatasi hal itulah sangat dibutuhkan suatu sistem otomasi.. Di mana para petugas yang berkepentingan di satu perusahaan dapat mengontrol hasil produksi tanpa harus ke bagian produksi, cukup dengan hanya melihat pada komputer yang berada di ruangannya yang sebelumnya sudah dipasang dengan sistem LAN. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah menerapkan sistem otomasi dalam proses perhitungan dan pencatatan jumlah dan hasil produksi sehingga sistem yang sebelumnya manual menjadi sistem yang terotomasi. Dengan penerapan sistem otomasi selain memberikan kemudahan dalam proses perhitungan dan pencatatan hasil produksi juga akan diperoleh efisiensi yang akan menguntungkan pihak perusahaan.

ABSTRACT

The requirement of production quantity data is a very important by company management. Especially for a marketing management, the data of accurate production number is very necessary to know the company’s ability in serving a market demand. At PT. Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia-Central Sumatra, the process of calculating the production number is still using a manual means due to the mass production number and human restriction in doing their works that enable the wrongness in calculation and record of production quantity. To solve them, it is mostly needed a computerized automation system so that the resulted information is more accurate, effective and efficient. In this condition the officials that have interest in a firm can control the outcomes of production without dealing with production division, but it is just adequate to look at the LAN-system computer installed in its room. The purpose of this design is to apply the automation system in the process of calculating and recording the number and outcome of production so that the manual system becomes an automation system.  In this application of  design, the detection process for products is made by a sensor. This sensor  transmits the logic signals that are later to be interpreted by the calculating application designed in PC. With this automation-system application it gives an easiness in the calculating process, and the resulted data will be accurate, minimizing in the quantity of workers as operators occurs and other efficiency that is advantageous to a company  will be resulted.
