Abstract

ABSTRACT

Modern retailer number in Indonesia is increasing significantly. Competition forces the retail business actor to fulfill the consumer demand for product/service cheaply, with adequate quality and quickly. The support of information and communication technology which is developing rapidly makes it is possible to increase the compepetiveness by doing production planning coordination and reducing inefficient costs. This research aims to propose a pricing model and order/delivery decision in modern retail supplu chain, in without coordination scenario. The commencing step is to describe system characteristic and model’s component definition in under discussion modern retailer. Next pricing model and order/delivery decision are formulated for without coordination scenario. This formulation model is to maximize supply chain profit by revenue increasing and cost minimizing, namely purchasing cost, ordering cost and handling cost. The result shows that there are 2 (two) pricing schemes in modern retailer of Giant Supermarket for without coordination scenario, namely coordination model between DC and retailer as well as distributor model. By doing numerical experiment, DC-retailer coordination model yields profit in the value of 4.05 x 104, meanwhile distributor model yields 1.95 x 104. Hence supply chain profit in without coordination scenario is 6 x 104.
