PROSES PENGOLAHAN AIR GAMBUT MENGGUNAKAN MEMBRAN REVERSE OSMOSIS

Abstract

Water is the natural resources that represent required all life being. Availability of clean water which enough represent vital matter to requirement of industrial and also domestic good human being. Type irrigate found on every area different each other depended how geographical condition area, as does that happened in Riau province precisely Indragiri Hulu and Pallawan sub-province. Because that area generally represent bog area or peat become water there tan in general even brown until black. Become not yet can be told as water which is competent to be consumed by society. To overcome the problem hence needed a processing of water, processing taken by using osmosis reverse membrane, so that got clean water event earn consumed direct. Principle from this processing is screening irrigate peat by using osmosis reverse membrane analysed by TDS content, turbidity, density, chlorine, sulphate, pH and E-Coli, where got value have to as according to standard quality of drink water according to health minister. Maximum value which enabled for the standard of quality of drinking water according to health minister shall be as fallow: TDS1000 mg/l, turbidity 5 NTU, density 50 mg/l, chlorine 250 mg/l, sulphate 400 mg/l, pH 6,5-8,5 and E-Coli 0 mg/100ml. After done processing by using osmosis reverses membrane got result matching with standard value quality of water according to health minister.
