APLIKASI SIMULASI DALAM PENGGUNAAN PENJADWALAN PRIORITY DISPATCHING RULES

Abstract

This research address a project to build up a model to simulate the processes of a particular manufacturing process in selecting Priority Dispatching Rules (PDR) scheduling. The production scheduling strategies investigated are Priority Dispatching Rule, i.e (a) First Come First Served (FCFS), Earliest Due Date (EDD), Shortest Proessing Time (SPT) and Longest Processing Time (LPT). Simulation modeling is employed to find out the best strategy out of the four strategies mentioned. Experiments on the models are conducted and analyzed. The simulation result show that Earliest Due Date (EDD) is the best among the Prioritized Dispatching Rules.
