IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM KANBAN PADA PROSES PRODUKSI MESIN THRESHER UNTUK MEMINIMASI PERSEDIAAN WORK IN PROCESS (WIP) DAN BAHAN BAKU

Abstract

There are many ways to improve efficiency in shop floor to minimize and elimination of waste. This research is implementation kanban system in inventory control (raw material and work in process). Type of kanban of implemented are withdrawl kanban and production kanban at product of gear thresher machine with 11 type of component. Based on result of calculation is obtained raw material inventory and work in proccess for each component can be decresed of significantly. Percentage of decresion some raw material as 87.05%, beside that for work in proccess as 70.05%.
